Chatting with the Bible: 70 Short Stories based on Scripture from the Old & New Testaments

I thought that it would be interesting to see what would happen if I collaborated with ChatGPT to write a short book based on Biblical stories. I carefully and thoughtfully chose stories from the Old and New Testaments based on my own familiarity and those that especially spoke to me. I read the original texts to review them for content and consistency and edited the stories where I thought it was appropriate. I suggested that ChatGPT emphasize themes or make connections between stories that I saw.For each story I wrote my own reflections. Some are based on my experiences as a psychologist with my clients. I’m always indebted to my clients, as what I have learned from them has made me a better person. They are a blessing. Some reflections are based on my experience as a professor, as teaching Psychology has required me to have a thorough knowledge of the major theorists and developments in a field that strives to understand the human psyche and how to intervene in effective ways to help alleviate suffering.
